Millennial’s opinion on co-living rooms of living quarter

Hi all,

I’m Aryamaan, a 24-year-old IT associate, who had the pleasure of staying with Buzz Quarters for over 2 years. That place has been home to many different kinds of me. I have been and met so many people in this beautiful place, that it truly changed my life. I’ll go into how as I write.

I was a day away from being without a place to stay in Hyderabad. It had been 2 weeks since I had arrived, and called countless brokers, only to view flats that were too expensive, too orthodox or just… not in a pleasant atmosphere. On the last day of my company-provided accommodation at a hotel, a friend told me about a place called Buzz Quarter. I went over, met with Rohan, took a look, and within the next 15 minutes, had it confirmed. It was young back then (2018), and they’d just started this venture out. Little did I know that I was making a beautiful choice for myself, in all aspects of life?

Now, let me explain the vibe of Buzz. This isn’t a hostel, this isn’t any kind of “group-specific” accommodation.

I met people of all age groups, from college graduates to respectable associates holding global roles in global organizations, artists, and people from all walks of life.

It was overwhelming at first because we didn’t have context, but then the Buzz Culture team stepped in and held a welcome party for all residents. At that party, I met so many people, and ever since then, I’ve always had people to talk to, create with, and learn from.

To my surprise, the events didn’t stop. Buzz quarter kept holding events for the residents, ranging from Art exhibitions and workshops, Music nights, Stand-up Comedy, Hip hop, DJs, and more than we could keep track of. I picked up Art and am now a self-proclaimed Charcoal Artist, kindly do let me know if you share this opinion! If it wasn’t for Buzz, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to break past my inhibitions and approach an artist like a child, saying “I want to start! I remember being received with such love by my art friends, who are now going to be lifelong friends of mine!

They say a place is more than just what you get out of it, it’s what you find in it. I had no expectations of Hyderabad, having come from Bangalore and grown up there all my life. But in Buzz, I met all of India, some of Europe, America, etc. too! When people from so many different walks of life come together, you can truly expect such a place to be a crucible of ideas and things happening!

This is just for starters, I have so much more to say about Buzz Quarters and my experiences there, with the owners and the staff.

I love you, Buzz! Thank you for having me as part of your family. I shall forever cherish it!
